How does multiple versions work

At Voicebooking, we have fixed rates for different types of productions. These are charged per version or video as indicated on our website.

How come we charge per version or video?

With voice overs and music and photos, among other things, we work with usage rights. By buying the usage right, you buy the right to use a voice for a certain purpose. This way, you and the voice over know that the audio will be used for the purpose it was bought for, and that the right amount will be paid for it. It also prevents audio from ending up in or on other versions or videos.

There is only one way to frame usage rights and that is to agree to it in advance and state it on the invoice. This is something used by voice overs as well as Voicebooking and the rest of the industry.

Why are there different rates for multiple versions?

With multiple versions, the reach of the voice over is increased. That's why the pricing is per video/version and why voice overs charge a little extra for it.

The moment multiple scripts are submitted for multiple versions/videos, we always try to arrange the best package deal for you. A package deal can be requested from the voice over because that means everything can be included in one session.
