How do I know if the voice over I want to work with is available?
If you have selected a voice over from our pre-selected database, they will deliver the recording within 24 hours after your briefing. We have an agreement with these voice overs about delivery terms and costs. They are usually always available, but you can check this in their profile. On the left side of the page you will see ‘Available now’ with a green dot as extra indication of their availability.
In rare cases, a pre-selected voice over is not available, e.g. due to illness or holiday. In that case, the dot will be orange instead of green.
If you have selected a voice over from our extended database, the availability is unknown. With these voice overs, we do not have a set agreement on costs and delivery. Their profile therefore always shows ‘Availability unknown’ with an orange dot.
How does it work when the availability of a voice over is unknown?
If the availability of a voice over is unknown, there are a few options to find out:
- If a pre-selected voice over shows an orange dot with ‘Available now’, contact us at support@voicebooking.com or +31 (0)20 77 47 323. We will find out about the availability of the voice actor. This instruction also shows when hovering your cursor over the availability status of the voice over.
- If, on the right side of the profile page, you see the option ‘Talk with the voice over’, you can directly contact the voice over. Clicking this button will take you to the chat box feature, where you can ask the voice over anything, including their availability.
- Some voice over profiles do not have the ‘Talk with the voice over’ button. In that case, contact us at support@voicebooking.com of +31 (0)20 77 47 323. We will find out about the availability of the voice actor.
Does an availability request cost money?
No, an availability request does not come with any obligations. You are not obligated to book the voice over if you change your mind and we do not charge anything for an availability check.
